According to Gozonews.com, GO, a Maltese telecommunications company, stated that the main reason for the degradation of the internet service is the technical problem on one of their international submarine cables in Sicily.

The company added that their teams are working on solving this problem and they will use alternative GO infrastructure to minimize the impact on the internet service.

GO stated: “Needless to say, we apologize for the inconvenience and reassure our customers that everything possible is being done to rectify the situation in the shortest time possible.”

The company will provide further updated as soon as possible.
