Asia Launches New Undersea Cable

According to The Times of India, a new 7,800 km undersea cable has been launched in Asia.

This Asia Submarine-cable Express (ASE) optical fibre cable is three milliseconds faster than any other cable between Singapore and Tokyo.

Making the laying route of the cable as straight as possible, the transfer of information from one end to the other has been reduced by 65 milliseconds.
