DOF Subsea Wins Petrobras Extension

Petrobras has extended RSV contract for the multipurpose vessel Geograph by 18 months.

The Geograph is owned by DOF ASA’s subsidiary, DOF Subsea.

The ship has operated for Petrobras since March 2011, and the extension is a direct continuation of existing contract.

The 70 meters long vessel was built in 2007. It is equipped with a deck crane (SWL 1.5 t) and an offshore crane (SWL 10/20 t – 1500/750 m).

Mons S. Aase, CEO, stated: “I am very happy with contract extension, which ensures utilization in a challenging market and strengthens our position in the Brazilian market.”
