Neptune has signed a 12 month vessel charter for the 34 meter DP1 MV Offshore Guardian, with Guardian Offshore AU Pty Ltd.

Built in 2015, the MV Offshore Guardian is a shallow draft survey, AUV, dive and ROV support vessel and will be based in Exmouth, Western Australia.

Neptune expects to take delivery of the vessel in late July and the agreement includes optional extensions, the company said.

Neptune chief executive officer, Robin King, said: “We are very pleased to have signed this long term agreement with Guardian Offshore and to offer our clients access to a very cost effective vessel spread that provides an excellent platform for delivery of our full suite of capabilities.”
