Polarcus Nets Asia Pacific Seismic Gig

Dubai-based seismic contractor Polarcus has received a contract for a broadband 3D marine seismic project in the Asia Pacific region.

The project is due to start in the second quarter of 2017.

According to the company, the project will run for approximately two months.

The Oslo-listed company did not disclose the name of the client nor the value of the contract.

Polarcus fleet activity has dropped from 79% in Q1 2016 to 72% in Q1 2017.
