VBMS Utilizes JFSE Equipment for Subsea Cable Repair

Subsea excavation experts James Fisher Subsea Excavation (JFSE) is providing equipment and personnel to subsea power cable installation specialist VBMS for several concurrent projects.

The company’s Twin R2000 spread, coupled with its patented water jetting system, is supporting offshore wind farm cable repairs and maintenance at locations throughout Europe.

Kenneth Mackie, managing director at JFSE, said: “We are delighted to once again be supporting VBMS. These concurrent projects are a significant award and we are confident our equipment and personnel will once again prove to be the industry leaders in providing mass/controlled flow excavation services – making a real difference to the success of our client’s challenging projects.”
