Benthic Aims at Renewables

Benthic said it has decided to officially expand into offshore renewables market by establishing a new business line.

Recognizing the potential of the emerging US offshore renewables industry, the company providing offshore marine geotechnical investigation, survey, analysis and design, has opened a new office in Boston, Massachusetts.

Paolo Casciotti, previously senior business development manager with Benthic, has been tasked with leading the effort. He was recently appointed manager of Offshore Renewables and relocated to Boston.

Benthic said it is also actively targeting other renewables markets including Taiwan and Europe.
