The Netherlands: NKT Cables Showcases its Products at EWEA Offshore

From the 29th of November to the 1st of December nkt cables will show its capabilities within the area of Intelligent Energy Transmission Solution for On and Offshore at the biggest and worldwide most important wind energy fair, the “Offshore 2011 Amsterdam”.

On the stand in Hall 11 nkt cables presents turnkey transmission solutions with a new developed VALCAP® monitoring system that integrates the well improved professional load management and now additionally a new VALCAP® security management. This security management tool detects and announces cable damages, can show areas of uncovered submarine cables and is able to avoid damages by announcing dangerous activities e.g. when an anchor or a big fishing net comes to close to the cable area. With its integrated JPS-tool, the VALCAP® security management is able to name and announce the ship that caused the damage of the cable. This is again a new offer for nkt cables’ customer to configure energy transmission grids in a most efficient and economic way to stay connected.
