2H Offshore, an Acteon company, has appointed Yann Helle as Principal Engineer of their Houston office. Yann recently transferred from 2H’s London office, where he celebrated his ten year anniversary with the company earlier this month.

Yann is a chartered mechanical engineer with over ten years experience in the subsea industry. He completed his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Kingston University in London and later earned his MBA at Imperial College, also in London. He has significant experience in riser and conductor systems, from drilling to production applications, minimum facility platforms and component package delivery, along with an extensive project management background.

As Principal Engineer in the Houston office, Yann will primarily be involved in the execution of engineering projects with a focus on analysis, design, and delivery management of deepwater riser systems.

“My ten years with 2H in London has been a fantastic experience, but I am excited about beginning the next chapter of my career here in Houston. I am very much looking forward to getting to know the 2H team and clients in Houston and learning more about the Gulf of Mexico market as a whole,” commented Yann.
