Five-Day Mid-Water Multibeam Surveyor Training Course Announced, USA
MosaicHydro, in partnership with CARIS and RESON, is offering a five-day training course for surveyors new to multibeam surveys. Whether you are an experienced single beam or multibeam surveyor or new to marine surveys, this course will teach you to be an effective multibeam operator and postprocessor.
The five-day training course will take place April 29 to May 3, 2013 in Ventura, California. The training course will include in-depth classroom training on multibeam theory of operation, setup, operation and post-processing in CARIS HIPS and SIPS, including water column processing. Participants will also spend over six hours onboard a multibeam vessel completing a minor survey which will include using a RESON 7160 mid-water multibeam.
Training will be held at the Marriott Ventura Beach hotel. As space is limited, it’s recommended to register early.
