VideoRay will exhibit at stand (B-034) located in the US Pavilion at NAVDEX 2013. They will hold two live in-water demonstrations each day. VideoRay will demonstrate the Pro 4 MIL 300 ROV configuration which includes several features designed for military style operations including EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), MCM (Mine Countermeasures), and general Port Security submerged inspections and surveys. The ROV will feature RI (Reacquire Identify) CoPilot by SeeByte software, BlueView multibeam imaging sonar, and a Teledyne Doppler Velocity Log (DVL).

The ROV system uses sonar, navigation and vehicle control combined as a live control capable of going to a preset surface or subsurface target location using coordinates, run a preset search route, or go automatically to “point and click” locations in route. Pilots can autonomously follow pre-defined sorties or maintain a station in currents exceeding 1 knot and rough sea conditions.

Easily transported by small boat or RHIB to a secure GPS launch point, CoPilot RI can safely investigate underwater objects of interest in a Mine Danger Area (MDA). CoPilot RI self-propels and navigates using pre-planned data to commence target reacquisition and identification with high definition sonar and low light video. CoPilot RI allows personnel to maintain a safe standoff distance from hazardous items, keeping the diver out of the water and giving the operational commander additional capacity of limited diver resources.

CoPilot RI can perform a wide range of underwater search missions and relay information in real-time to provide the following immediate benefits:
