Heriot-Watt University Invites Tenders for Supply of AUV & Associated Equipment
Heriot-Watt University Group announces tender for the supply of AUV and associated equipment.
This represents the fourth tranche, comprising 5 lots of research equipment being purchased as part of the successful 8 Great Technologies joint bid by Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh.
The contract covers the supply of:
- An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV);
- A medium to large autonomous survey class unmanned surface vehicle (USV);
- 3 small portable USVs;
- An acoustic communication and navigation network;
- An underwater manipulator.
The contract is divided into lots and tenders may be submitted for part or whole. The deadline for submission of tenders is November 27, 2013.
