STX Marine Belait CSS 1 Undocks from Shipyard (China)

STX Marine (STXM) announces that the Belait CSS 1, the maintenance version of the popular Compact Semi Sub design, was undocked on 7th Dec 2013, at Fujian Mawei Shipyard SE China.

The Fit for Purpose CSS is a multi-function well-intervention, supply and light construction vessel. The primary features of the vessel are a 150 T lattice boom crane, a telescopic heave compensated gangway, a moonpool, a 12.8 T rated helideck, DP-2 rating and accommodation for 199 people.

She is destined for Brunei to perform Well Head maintenance activity mid 2014.
