Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC), a specialist in pipe-laying ship fabrication, has handed over a 3,000-tonne shallow water pipe-laying ship to a Malaysian customer.

ZPMC has successfully applied standardized shipbuilding technologies to the ship, adjusted to the specific needs of the customer.

The vessel measures 169 meters in length and 46 meters in molded breadth. The ship has proved seaworthiness in unrestricted waters and can be used for various marine engineering operations at a water depth of 300 meters such as hoisting and submarine pipe-laying.
