Vattenfall Seeks Contractors for Horns Rev 3 OWF Works
Vattenfall plans to participate in Danish Energy Agency (DEA) led call for bids for the concession of Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm located in a shallow water area of the eastern North Sea.
Vattenfall has invited contractors to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the transport of wind turbine generators (WTGs) from the port of pre-assembly to the Horns Rev 3 offshore construction site and for the installation of the WTGs.
The Company is also seeking for suppliers of design, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, installation and commissioning of 33kV inter array cables for the project.
Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm will cover an area of approximately 90 km2 and will have a capacity of 400 MW.
