Kongsberg Maritime Displays Latest Camera Innovations at Oi 2014

Kongsberg Maritime will display its latest camera innovations on its booth at Oceanology International 2014, including the new OE14-522 HD Pan and Tilt Zoom (PATZ) Camera.

With a compact Omega dome design, this sophisticated new camera offers beyond hemispherical viewing and excellent optical performance in the deepest waters.

It features an all new belt driven PATZ mechanism which provides smooth, accurate and infinitely variable speed controlled head movement. Based on Kongsberg Maritime’s proven colour zoom inspection camera, the new OE14-522 HD PATZ can provide high definition (HD) or high quality standard definition (SD) signal output.

With its 4500m standard depth rating, optical coverage of 230º pan x 220º tilt (when using wide zoom setting) and 1920 x 1080 high definition pixel resolution, the OE14-522 HD PATZ is a high quality camera for diverse applications.

The OE14-522 HD PATZ features analogue or digital / HDSDI video signal outputs and is supplied with the unique Kongsberg Maritime GUI, which can be simply interfaced with any USB Plug and Play Joystick for straightforward camera control.
