A&P Tyne Repairs Red 7 Marine’s DP Reel Vessel

Red 7 Marine’s DP Reel arrived at A&P Tyne’s site in Tyneside for the required inspection and specialist repairs of the Forward Azimuth Thruster.

A&P also conducted the works on Port & Starboard Tailshaft seal renewal, removal of temporary deck equipment from last charter, modifications to the automatic sprinkler system, removal and refurbishment of Main & Auxiliary Engine Fuel Pumps & Governors by specialists, resetting of fuel timing and modifications to existing TLQ’s steel foundations and piping (Temporary Living Quarters ) so as to accommodate additional units for new charter.

The 91m x 18 m vessel is capable of offshore diving and construction, cable laying, ROV and deep water drilling operations.

The vessel is awaiting the completion of the repairs in A&P’s Bede Quay prior to trials and testing.
