CARIS HIPS and SIPS Workshop Held in Indonesia
A CARIS HIPS and SIPS workshop was conducted this past March for new and existing CARIS clients in Indonesia.
The workshop was organized by CARIS Alliance Partner, PT OceaTekno Indonesia, and held at the famous Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
The park, which is located in Jakarta, summarizes the cultures of the nation’s many provinces, and was a great venue for the Indonesia workshop.
The training was attended by various industry and government organizations and led by CARIS’ Dan Morash. During the four-day workshop participants had an opportunity to learn about the latest HIPS and SIPS improvements for streamlined multibeam calibration, efficient bathymetry, seafloor imagery, water column imagery processing and other advanced topics to improve rates of production in their survey operations.
