Remedial construction works at the London Array Offshore Wind Farm have been launched and will be performed until August 2014.

The work is being done at a number of turbines and inter array cable locations.

Red7Marine Offshore Ltd is undertaking diving and construction work within the London Array site. Operations will be conducted from the vessel Red7 Reel, a support RIB COM III and shallow water vessel Myss, operated by Red7Marine Offshore. During operation, the Red7 Reel will be acting as a mothership for the COM III and Myss. Throughout all diving operations a 500m exclusion zone will be enforced around each vessel.

London Array, the world’s largest operational offshore wind farm, comprises 175 Siemens’ turbines totaling 630 MW in capacity. It is located 20 km off the Kent coast in the outer Thames Estuary.
