Subsea 7 Charters Skandi Neptune Until 2016

Subsea-7-Extends-Skandi-Neptune-Charter

Subsea 7 has exercised a charter option on the vessel Skandi Neptune, extending the charter by 1 year, and the vessel is firm until Q1 2016.

The Skandi Neptune is a construction /pipelay vessel that can support flexible pipelay, umbilical installation and deepwater construction.

The vessel is equipped with a vertical lay system (100t top-tension capacity) and twin ROVs.

The Skandi Neptune was built in 2001 as a cable layer. In 2005, she was converted to a multi-purpose offshore support vessel.
