VIDEO: New Subsea 7 HCV ‘Seven Arctic’

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea is currently constructing a new vessel for London based subsea engineering, construction and services company, Subsea 7.

The new Heavy Construction / Flexlay vessel Seven Arctic will be a highly capable construction vessel capable of worldwide operations, featuring a 900t Offshore Crane and a 325t top tension Vertical Lay System with 7,000t of underdeck pipe storage.

To help bring the ship to life, a high-end animation has been created to give visitors the opportunity to see the vessel’s capabilities first-hand.

The vessel has a length of 162 meters and breadth of 32 meters, with accommodations for 132 persons.

The HCV Seven Arctic is due to enter service in 2016.
