RANA Secures Diving Services Work at Fauzia and Elettra

Saipem has awarded RANA with saturation diving activities for the tie-ins at new installed platforms Fauzia and Elettra in the Northern Adriatic Sea, Italy.

Workscope includes metrology for closing tie-in spools fabrication, tie-in spools installation, riser and riser clamps installation, free-span corrections and assistance to pre-commissioning activities.

For this project RANA has hired the DSV Altus Optimus. Expected duration is 60 days, starting early July.

ALTUS OPTIMUS is a DP-II DSV with a 16 men Saturation Diving System with two moon pools and twin bell system, 2 x 60T Cranes which will enhance sub sea operations in DP2 Diving mode.
