COSCO Scores $470 Mln Subsea Supply Vessel Deal with Maersk

Cosco-Cancels-DP3-Deepwater-Drillship-Contract

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipyard Group, has secured contracts valued over USD 470 million from Maersk Supply Service (MSS), part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, to build four subsea supply vessels.

The secured contract comes with an option for Maersk Supply Service to build an additional two subsea supply vessels.

The newbuild vessels are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2016 and the first half of 2017.
