Aker Solutions Presents Subsea Production System for Kaombo at ONS
During the last day of this year’s ONS Exhibition, Aker Solutions has presented the latest advancements in its subsea business, including the prestigious subsea production system for Total’s Kaombo development.
The Kaombo development, located in block 32 about 150 kilometers off the coast of Angola, is one of the world’s largest subsea developments.
It involves tying in nine reservoirs at water depths from 1,400 to 1,900 meters.
Aker Solutions will deliver 20 subsea manifolds and 65 vertical subsea wellsets for the project.
The order also includes associated controls as well as work-over and tie-in systems.
The project has just begun and will be fully delivered in 2018.
