Polarcus Limited has announced that JSC Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG), which has a joint cooperation agreement with Polarcus, has entered into a contract for 3D marine seismic acquisition services for a major energy company offshore Sakhalin.

The program, requiring two Polarcus A-Class vessels, will start in Q2 2015 and is expected to run for approximately 4 months (equivalent 8 vessel months).

Polarcus is a pure play marine geophysical company, specializing in high-end towed streamer data acquisition from Pole to Pole. Polarcus operates a fleet of high performance 3D seismic vessels incorporating an innovative design and advanced maritime technologies for improved safety and efficiency.

Dalmorneftegeophysica (DMNG) provides geophysical services for the petroleum industry including surveys planning, data acquisition, processing, interpretation and hydrocarbon resource evaluation. The company has three modern 2D/3D vessels which meet all the requirements of international industry.
