Sea Trucks Secures Funding for Completion of Jascon 18

Sea Trucks Group Limited (“Sea Trucks”), an international oil and gas marine contractor with a strong track record in the key oil and gas producing regions, particularly West Africa, announces a US$ 130,000,000 facility to finance the completion of Jascon 18 has been signed.

Jascon 18, a 150m DP3 multi-purpose construction support vessel, will continue the final stages of outfitting at the Kwong-Soon shipyard in Singapore where work on the accommodation blocks, cabling, piping and installation of an 1800t main crane has already begun.

The vessel is expected to be delivered in Q3 2015.

The vessel will enhance Sea Trucks’ offering to clients by adding an Ultra-Deep and Deepwater project capable vessel to the existing global DP3 fleet, complemented by the broad spread of vessels operated from Sea Trucks’ West African bases.
