MacGregor’s Pusnes Mooring for Shell

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has signed a contract with Shell for a Pusnes permanent mooring system. Contract value is around EUR 20 million.

“We are very happy to finalise this large contract,” says Jan Martin Grindheim, Vice President, Offshore Mooring Systems at MacGregor.

“It is strategically important to maintain our market share in the Gulf of Mexico and to maintain our position as a supplier of high-end offshore mooring systems,” notes Mr Grindheim.

MacGregor has supplied Pusnes offshore mooring systems since 1968 worldwide. Many types and designs of winches, fairleads and chain stoppers have been developed over the years with deliveries to over 130 floaters to date.
