SeaBird Bags NSA Seismic Deal
SeaBird Voyager ExplorerOslo-listed seismic contractor, SeaBird Exploration, has received a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) from an unannounced company to acquire up to 45,000 km of 2D seismic data in North/South America region.
The MOA provides for the company to charter one seismic vessel from SeaBird over a period of approximately 12 months.
The survey will cover a minimum of 17,000 kilometers and up to 45,000 kilometers in several areas in NSA waters.
According to Seabird, an estimated value of MOA is between USD11 million and USD30 million.
The project will start during February 2015.
