Nord Stream Names Compliance Director
Reinhard Ontyd (51) from E.ON Global Commodities will join the Nord Stream executive management on 1 January 2015 as Compliance Director.
This new appointment completes the adjustment of the company structure to meet the challenges of providing efficient and secure long-term operation of the Nord Stream Pipeline. As Compliance Director, Mr Ontyd will take over responsibility for the Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Procurement and Legal functions among others.
After studying Law, Mr Ontyd started his carreer at E.ON Ruhrgas and worked for E.ON Global Commodities before joining Nord Stream. Over the past 20 years he has held various executive positions for E.ON in the field of project management, legal, and long-term gas supply contract management.
