Polarcus Wins WA Shoot for Parenco

Oslo-listed seismic player Polarcus has inked a a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Perenco Oil & Gas Gabon for a 3D marine seismic acquisition project offshore West Africa.

The survey will be acquired by the company’s 12 streamer 3D/4D seismic vessel Polarcus Nadia.

The 88.8 meters long, ULSTEIN SX124 design vessel, became part of Polarcus’ fleet in 2009.

According to Polarcus, the project will begin in the first quarter of 2015 and it will last for approximately 21 days.

The potential value of a service contract hasn’t been announced.
