EMGS in Barents Data Sale

Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has struck a data licensing agreement with an undisclosed oil company for the sale of 3D EM data related to the 23rd licensing round in the Barents Sea.

EMGS said that the deal is worth USD 2.5 million, before potential adjustment for partner’s share of revenues.

EMGS has a multi-client database covering 42,000 square kilometres of the Barents Sea, as well as 10,000 square kilometres in the Norwegian Sea and 1400 square kilometers in the North Sea.
