Aberdeen-based Flexible pipe specialist, FlexTech, has secured contracts worth in excess of £250,000.

According to the company, the projects, with two oil and gas majors, will take place both on and offshore supporting operations in the UK and the North Sea.

FlexTech will execute flexible pipe and flexible pipe integrity work, covering offshore annulus testing and onshore life extension of flexible and subsea assets.

FlexTech Engineering Director, Craig Keyworth, said: “The contracts separately cover two and three year service agreements with clients who the team has previously worked with, representing a solid commitment from our customers.

Established in 2013 with bases in Aberdeen and Lincolnshire, FlexTech will be showcasing during Subsea Expo, the largest annual subsea event in Europe, which will take place between 11-13 February 2015 at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Keyworth continued: “Subsea Expo is a key platform for showcasing our capabilities to a global audience. The exhibition has grown significantly over the years, providing the energy sector with the opportunity to see innovative subsea technology in action, as well as emerging and future technologies.“

FlexTech currently has a team of 12 subsea and marine specialists and aims to add a further five employees within the next 12 months.
