WeSubsea Launches New ROV Dredgers

WeSubsea, a subsea dredging specialist, has released two new versions of its titanium ROV dredger systems.

The new WeSubsea Titanium 8“ and 10″ High Capacity ROV Dredgers have been developed to be used on rock dumps consisting of larger rocks, or seabed with natural rocks.

The 8” HC dredgers have a flow rate of 1002 M3/Hr – 16700 Lpm capable of dredging rocks up to 185mm, while the 10” HC dredgers have a flow rate of 1233 M3/Hr – 20383 Lpm capable of dredging rocks up to 230mm.

According to WeSubsea, ROV Dredger can be used with an extended suction hose for transportation of sediments over longer distances.

Both ROV dredger systems can be mounted and used in different ways:

- Mounted as one unit on the ROV and connected with a suction hose between the dredger and the suction head;

- Using two ROV ́s connected with a long suction hose (e.g.10m). One ROV running the pump. One operating the suction hose;

- Mounted on a frame and used as a powerful diver dredger, powered with a top site hydraulic power unit.
