A North-east marine equipment specialist, Motive Offshore Group, has strengthened its management team, appointing Steven Simpson as sales manager who will be primarily based at the firm’s Aberdeen sales office.

Simpson brings more than 10 years of experience to the role, previously holding a number of business development positions within the oil and gas industry. He will be focused on developing key accounts with existing and potential clients, and implementing strategic sales plans to drive and expand the business in the home market and internationally.

Chief executive officer of Motive Offshore Group, James Gregg, said: “Steven has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry, bringing a strong skillset that will help to lift Motive Offshore to the next level.
