Ageotec's First Norbit iWMBS Sonar Goes to Croatia

Ageotec announces the booking of its first sale of a Norbit iWMBS multibeam sonar, with integrated precision motion sensor.

The customer made its choice after the demonstrations Norbit conducted during the IEEE OCEANS15 conference in Genova.

The system will be put to work immediately on a survey in Croatia.

The multibeam kit offers high resolution bathymetry over a wide swath. Having a GNSS/Inertial Navigation System embedded onto the sonar ensures fast and reliable mobilization, the company noted.

The WBMS-series are based on a flexible sonar platform that utilizes the latest in analog and digital signal processing.
