Gazprom’s Chairman of the Management Committee Alexey Miller and Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia have held a working meeting focusing on Russian gas exports to Serbia.

The parties discussed gas supply routes after 2019 following the expiry of the agreement for gas transit across Ukraine. In particular, the parties addressed gas deliveries to Serbia through the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.

Furthermore, Alexey Miller and Panagiotis Lafazanis, Minister of Productive Reconstruction, Environment and Energy of the Republic of Greece, yesterday, June 18 2015 addressed the construction of capacities in Greece for supplying European markets with Russian pipeline gas from the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. According to Gazprom, an emphasis was put on the preparation of a pertinent inter-governmental memorandum.

To remind, On December 1, 2014 Gazprom and Turkish Botas signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline from Russia towards Turkey across the Black Sea, following the cancellation of the South Stream project. The gas pipeline will have an annual capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas.
