MCG Gets New Chief Financial Officer
MultiClient Geophysical ASA (MCG) announced the appointment of Anders Balling Engelsen as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer.
Engelsen comes from the position as Vice President of Equity Transactions at Petroleum Geo-Services in Norway. He has extensive experience within corporate finance/corporate development within a broad range of industries both as an employee and as a management consultant.
A native of Denmark, Engelsen holds a Master of Science (Siv.ing) from NTNU in Norway and a Master of Business Administration from University of Oxford.
Engelsen will start in his new position September 01, and he is replacing Renate Mørch who has decided to pursue other opportunities.
In announcing the appointment, Tom Wolden, Chief Executive Officer of MCG, commented, “I am very pleased that Anders joins our executive team. He brings a solid understanding of the industry combined with a strategic mindset that will be instrumental in the further development of MCG. I look forward to getting him onboard to set the agenda for future growth.”
