PHOTO: SSV Ocean Dolphin on Sea Trials

The photo shows recent sea trials of a seismic support vessel (SSV) Ocean Dolphin.

The SSV, built by Turkey’s Cemre Shipyard, was launched on March 7, this year.

The vessel is the first of two seismic support vessels ordered by Norfield back in December 2013.

Both vessels are of identical SALT 0046 design with length of 69,8 meters a width of 17 meters.

The 36th vessel Cemre has launched thus far will have a total accomodation capacity of 60 persons.

The Cemre Shipyard Hull 35 ship, operated by Vestland, will be on a long term charter with DolphinGeo Norway, after its delivery, scheduled for Q4 2015.
