Technip India Gets New Managing Director
Bhaskar Patel, Managing Director, Technip IndiaBhaskar Patel has been appointed as Managing Director of Technip India, with immediate effect.
Patel takes over from Samik Mukherjee, who recently moved to Technip Corporate Services in Paris, France, as Group Senior Vice President Strategy & Business Development, Subsea.
Patel joined Technip in 2012 after the Group’s acquisition of Stone & Webster Process Technologies and associated oil and gas engineering capabilities from the Shaw Group. Based in Paris, he has been responsible for Group’s Key Accounts, Tendering and Proposals for the past 3 years. With his new assignment as Managing Director in India, he will keep responsibility as Group SVP, Key Account Management.
Commenting on his appointment, Bhaskar Patel, Managing Director, Technip India, said: “Although I have visited India many times on business and pleasure, this is my first time living in India and I feel very privileged and honored to have the opportunity to lead such a diverse, talented and enthusiastic group of people in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
