Rana Nets Bonaccia NW Diving Contract from Saipem

Rana Diving, a provider of underwater services to the oil and gas industry, has been awarded a saturation diving contract by Italy’s Saipem.

The contract is for the saturation diving activities for the tie-ins at new installed platform Bonaccia North West in the Adriatic Sea.

According to the company, the workscope includes metrology for tie-in spools fabrication, tie-in spools installation, riser and riser clamps installation, free-span corrections and assistance to pre-commissioning activities.

The works will be carried out from the MSV Mamta, hired by Rana for this project.

The expected duration of the contract is 20 days, starting early September.
