Deep Sea Mooring Bags Lundin Norway Deal

Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring has been awarded a three-year contract with Lundin Norway for mooring equipment services.

Deep Sea Mooring (DSM) will provide services and products supporting Lundin’s activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) including mooring equipment for drilling rigs and accommodation units, and provision of offshore personnel.

Lundin has the option to call on additional services related to mooring analysis, as well as pre-lay and rig move plans, the company informed.

“Given the present market conditions, we are especially pleased to see our Norwegian team has been awarded this three-year contract with a reputable client as Lundin,” says Wolfgang Wandl, EVP Marine Contracting and Deep Sea Mooring.

Åge Straume, Managing Director of Deep Sea Mooring for the North Atlantic region adds: “This award adds significant strategic and financial value to our portfolio and we see the partnership with Lundin as a confirmation of the high quality of our people, services, technology and equipment.”

Delivery will start immediately, the company added.
