Grandweld Delivers Diving Vessel to ADNOC

U.A.E based Grandweld has delivered the newbuild Dive Maintenance & Support Vessel (DMSV) to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

The 50 meter ‘TAWAM1’ vessel will be operated by IRSHAD and used for the dive and maintenance operations in the Abu Dhabi offshore oil fields.

The new vessel is fitted with an integrated diving systems, designed to achieve 60 Tons Bollard Pull and speed of 13 knots. The DMSV can accommodate a crew of 30.

Furthermore, in order to support maintenance operations, the vessel is equipped with anchor handling equipment and offshore lifting crane of 35 Ton at 7.5m capacity for handling gravity anchors, mooring buoys and SBM hoses.

TAWAM1 is also equipped with external firefighting capability to class 1.
