ZTT to Supply Subsea Cables for Huaneng Rudong OWF

Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology (ZTT) has won CNY 240-million (aprox. EUR 33 million) contract to supply subsea cables for Huaneng Rudong offshore wind farm in China.

Huaneng Tendering awarded ZTT the contract to supply 35kV and 110kV subsea cables for the 300MW wind farm project.

Huaneng Rudong offshore wind farm, situated in East China’s Jiangsu Province, will consist of 50 turbines of 4MW and 20 turbines of 5MW capacity.

The nearest turbine will be 14 kilometres off the coast. According to ZTT, the delivery of the cables is planned during 2016.
