SeaBird Nets North Sea Undershoot Work

Oslo-listed seismic contractor SeaBird Exploration has been awarded a contract for undershoot work in the North Sea.

According to the company, the work is scheduled to begin and be performed during the coming summer season (Q3 2016).

Undershoot is a technique used for acquisition of seismic data beneath areas that are difficult to access at the surface.

SeaBird said it anticipates the project to last for approximately three weeks.

The company did not disclose the name of the contractor nor the value of the contract.
