H2X to Supply Dive Boat for DRASSM

H2X La Ciotat, France.

H2X shipyard, based in the city of La Ciotat, has secured a contract to provide dive support boat for French Department for Underwater and Undersea Archeological Research (DRASSM), based in Marseille.

The contract, worth EUR 799,500, was secured through a tender procedure issued by DRASSM in late 2015.

The vessel, supplied by H2X, will be used for archaeological research and underwater operations along the coastal border.

DRASSM requires a boat with an intermediate operational unity between their vessel ‘André Malraux’ and fast pneumatic boats with semi-rigid hulls.

In addition, the vessel will be capable to support a 10-person team, together with logistics and equipment for excavation and diving works.
