WFS Gets Project Director for SE Asia and Australia

WFS Technology has appointed Mike Theobald as project director for Australia and South East Asia.

Mike started his career with FSSL (formally Kvaerner Oilfield Products now Aker Solutions) in 1988.

His core discipline is in subsea control systems, the company noted.

He sits on several industry standards committees and is long time fellow of the Society for Underwater Technology and a fellow of the Institution for Engineering & Technology.

Mike Theobald said: “It will be very rewarding to be part of the team working on this remarkable technology and developing new areas to which can be applied. I will be focused on continuing the successful growth of WFS’ presence in the South East Asian and Australian regions.”

Brendan Hyland, chairman at WFS Technology said: “We are delighted to have Mike join our team. He brings strong industry experience and a deep knowledge of the control market in which we are successfully establishing ourselves. His customer centric approach and strong regional network will enable us to broaden the scope of our advanced technologies in this key area.”
