Italian contractor, Saipem, has announced that Giulio Bozzini will assume the role of chief financial and strategy officer (CFSO), with responsibility for administration, finance and control, ICT and strategy.

Currently head of Planning and Control at Eni, Bozzini has already worked in a number of managerial roles at Saipem.

Alberto Chiarini, who leaves the roles of Saipem chief financial officer and manager responsible for the preparation of financial reports, is moving on to a new position at Eni.

In addition, the Saipem board of directors has appointed Mariano Avanzi “Manager responsible for the preparation of financial reports”.

Mariano Avanzi has been with Saipem since 1994 and is executive vice president for planning, administration and control.

“The board of directors expressed its deep appreciation to Alberto Chiarini for the work carried out during his time at Saipem and wished Giulio Bozzini and Mariano Avanzi every success in their new roles,” the company said in a press release.
