James Fisher Subsea Excavation Wins Iran Contract

James Fisher Subsea Excavation (JFSE), a subsidiary of James Fisher and Sons, has been awarded a trenching contract in the Persian Gulf.

The contract is JFSE’s first award offshore Iran and it will see the company utilise its excavation equipment to trench 15 kilometres of cable.

Launched in October 2015, James Fisher Subsea Excavation is a trading name of James Fisher’s Mass Flow Excavation business that started with the combination of KDM Marine with James Fisher’s HydroDigger fleet, as well as the assets of X-Subsea, acquired in May 2015.

JFSE’s head office is based near Aberdeen, Scotland, with operational centres located in the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Europe, Houston and Singapore.
