SST Bags $15 Mln Navy Deal

Sound & Sea Technology (SST), the ocean and marine engineering specialist, has been awarded a contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, California, for the installation of a seismo-hydroacoustic data acquisition system.

The work to be performed provides for engineering services to develop final installation plans, integrate, and install all offshore seismo-hydroacoustic data acquisition system subsystems.

The project will be executed off the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, and is expected to be completed in 2017.

The contract is valued at approximately $15 million.
