Fathom Upgrades Atlantic Marine’s ROGE ROVs

Atlantic Marine and ROGE Systems have placed orders with Fathom Systems to “future proof and improve” the ROGE ROV systems.

The order includes the upgrade of all of the existing ROGE ROV control systems, and adds new functionality, reliability and a new package of software.

The upgrade will allow the ROGE ROV units to do the same tasks as a WROV but with greater scope for the subsea lift and recovery operations.

Gareth Kerr, managing director of Fathom Systems said:

“Fathom are delighted to receive this important order from Atlantic Marine that will bring their ROGE systems up to date with the latest software control systems. The ROGE vehicles have been operating reliably for over 10 years using the original iVP control consoles, and this upgrade will deploy our recently developed Windows based ROGE control software. Fathom have worked closely with Atlantic Marine personnel since the initial development of these systems, and look forward to continuing this strong relationship.
